Alec Oshner founded AJO Architects in Strasburg, Colorado, in 2022, specializing in high-end custom residential and light commercial design.

Originally from Illinois, Alec discovered his passion for architecture during a drafting class in his senior year of high school. This led him to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University. Alongside his academic endeavors, Alec participated in the ROTC program and commissioned as an Engineer Officer in the United States Army Reserves.

Throughout his career, Alec has worked with award winning architectural firms in Houston, TX, and Denver, CO, contributing to over 75 projects across the civilian and military sectors in the U.S. and Eastern Europe. His experience spans every stage of design, from conceptual planning and renderings to construction documentation and permitting.

With over eight years of professional experience, Alec established AJO Architects to bring innovative, thoughtful design solutions to his clients' homes. His approach emphasizes creativity and close collaboration, aiming to enhance the way his clients live their everyday lives.
